Valuations for various reasons:
For auction
If you are considering auctioning your collection, specialists from De Nederlandsche will give you free verbal advice about the auction value of your object. However, this advice does not have the status of an official valuation report.
For direct sales
If you want to sell your collection of stamps or coins quickly, at the current market value, this is also possible, for direct payment. We also buy gold and silver coins directly.
For insurance
In the event of theft, damage or fire, it is advisable to have an accurate and extensive valuation report of your stamps and/or coins. Because the value of these fluctuates, stamps and/or coins should be appraised regularly. Insurance reports are generally valid for 3 years.
For succession and/or divisions
In the case of an estate or division, our appraisers can value the collection and prepare a valuation report based on this. If desired, they also provide expert advice on the object to be distributed.
Also for civil-law notaries, lawyers, executors of wills and tax advisers who need an official valuation report for their clients for, among other things, estate planning, mutual distribution and tax advice, the Dutch Postage Stamp and Coin Auction prepares a report for this. Of course, this also applies in the case of objects to be auctioned.
Determining the current market value
If you are interested in the current market value of your collection without wishing to auction, we will provide you with an accurate estimate of your object.
