How to bid? The bidding:
When your bid is successful, the price you have to pay is the hammer price plus the commission and ‘table money'. You can get your purchases after payment. This is sometimes possible within 5 minutes - you do not necessarily have to wait till the end of the auction. Absentee bidders will be notified of the results as soon as possible, and their purchases can, after payment be sent or taken away. Means of payment: cash payments only. We do not accept credit cards. Why not visit us and see how easy it is to buy at auction. If you are a new client we request you to download a bidding form, fill this in completely including references, sign and return it to us (Leeuwenveldseweg 14, 1382LX Weesp or fax +31 (0)294 433055). Existing customers of De Nederlandsche Postzegel- en Muntenveiling B.V. can send their bids by e-mail ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ). This email address is protected from spam bots. Javascript must be enabled in order to view it. Send your bids well in advance. Bids which arrive up to 4 hours before the auction will be handled. Should there be two or more identical bids, the first one received by us will take precedence. Bidding increments:
Bids that do not correspond to the bid increases will be rounded off to a lower figure and enjoy no priority above an equal bid, unless received earlier.
Bids less than 80% of the reserve will not be accepted. |
